Most of our services are reimbursed through Medicaid (approximately 80% of all of our funding is through various types of Medicaid funding).
La Vida has other State of New Mexico funding sources including: The New Mexico Department of Health; Aging and Long Term Services Department; and Children Youth and Families Department.
As a non-profit, we rely heavily on donations and private foundation funding to fund those services and equipment that we are not reimbursed for through Medicaid or other state funding. We are so appreciative of the private donors and foundations who have supported our work and helped to fill the gaps in needed services.
