Program
Our compassionate and experienced caregivers help older adults who are having difficulty caring for themselves due to physical or mental health conditions, by providing housekeeping, personal care, and transportation to keep them living safe in their own homes.
Homecare Programs
Our non-medical homecare services are provided to older adults who are unable to perform a range of activities of daily living and who have minimal supports to assist them in living safely in their home.
Services
Homecare Services
Sometimes it only takes a few hours of services a week to help older adults stay in their homes. Some seniors require many more hours per week in order to have their needs met.
Homecare services we provide may include:
- Housekeeping to include sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting furniture, changing linens, washing laundry, cleaning bathrooms, washing dishes
- Meal preparation
- Transportation to doctor appointments and/or errands such as grocery shopping or picking up prescriptions
- Assistance with bathing and personal care
- Bowel/bladder care needs
- Medication reminders (we cannot administer medication)
Services provided to each individual are dependent on the referral source and funding that the individual is eligible for. We receive referrals from NM Adult Protective Services and from the City of Albuquerque Department of Senior Affairs. Private pay services are available for those not eligible under these programs.
Respite Services
Do you care for an elderly relative in your home? We can provide you with temporary relief by caring for your loved one and offering homemaker/personal care services, companionship, emotional support and supervision to assure their safety at home.
Our Caregivers
Our caregivers must pass a criminal background check and are certified in CPR and First Aid. They receive specialized training each year to include caring for adults with Alzheimer’s and dementia, nutrition, home management skills, and other topics related to the provision of services to the elderly and adults with disabilities.
